SEM-SEN (Special Education Materials For Special Education Needs)

PROJE HAKKINDA

Special education teachers and administrators do a tremendous job, and their work is not to be understated. Special education is a necessary component of education. Schools need to serve all kids, which is why we rely on talented instructors, like you, to work with special needs students. There comes a point though when only so much work can be done in the classroom, which is why those with PhD’s are so crucial to developing innovative policies that drive education forward.
We would like to prepare some contents with our students for Special Education Needs Learners. Especially for; Autism, Deaf-blindness, Emotional disturbance, Intellectual disability, Multiple disabilities, Specific learning difficulties or learners with low motivation, etc.
The contents will specifically include epidemic and environmental issues. It is aimed to enable our students to do research by using secure internet resources and to raise their awareness on epidemic and environmental issues.

HEDEFLER

1. Students will be literally aware of reasons and motives of pandemic and environment, how it spread, how to get protected from it.
2. General considerations for designing online collaboration and distance learning experiences during the pandemic and fighting against environment pollution.
3. Practical tips and examples for using specific digital tools . A list of tools organized by the purpose they serve.
4. Students' digital media literacy should be put forward. Media literacy is a key tool to build resilience to health-related misinformation.
5. Provide activities to promote the assimilation of new strategies for SEN students, such as Digital Story Telling, Video- Based-Learning, Gamification, Project Based Learning, Personalized Learning and Adaptive Learning.
6. To help the students to be aware of the importance of environmemt.
7. To communicate with peers from other countries.
8. To improve linguistic skills and digital competences.

BEKLENEN SONUÇLAR

● Students will meet and talk with other students in Twinspace.
● Students will learn how to work collaboratively and acquire various ICT skills.
● Students learn about the pandemic and environmental studies of other countries, practice English language and improve multimedia and web2.0 skills
● They will learn how to share their work with other countries.
● Teachers will be able to exchange technological skills, methodologies and educational strategies.
● They will lay the foundations for European citizens, to future collaborations.
● They will develop pupils' level of autonomy.
● Students will improve the dialogue and respect towards environment and all cultures.
● They will reinforce their cooperation ability.
● They will be more aware of pandemi.
● They will promote the social and scholastic inclusion of their classmates with learning difficulties.
● They will improve motivation in learning.
